I’ve always loved to dance or be silly with friends in high school growing up, and I always just loved the song “footloose’ it just made me want to dance.
And when I went to college it came with me. Everyone associated me with “footloose” During my senior year of college soccer, our team made a warmup tape and footloose was on it. Every time footloose came on we stopped what we were doing, made a circle and had a mini dance party during the song.
After I graduated, I taught preschool for 10 years. And every Friday, during circle time we would listen to footloose, and the kids would just dance. And we called it “Footloose Friday” came from.
So Footloose Fitness has been in the making for almost 20 years now!
why footloose?
“I worked with Caitlin for 3 months while training for a half marathon. I knew I needed to eat better. I had in my head I wanted to eat better and get thinner though. My whole thought process changed around food!! I learned so much and saw my body composition change without the scale fluctuating more than a pound or two. I was eating so much more food than I thought I could. I had more energy. My weekly call with Cait is what kept me accountable and gave me goals for each week. I couldn’t have done it without her support. I don’t track my food at the moment, but I will every once in a while to make sure I’m eating ENOUGH—not to make sure I’m not eating too much. I would highly recommend working with Caitlin if you really want to learn about food and be your healthiest self mentally and physically.”
